Description
Midnight blue and quietly dramatic, this indicolite tourmaline reads almost black until the light finds its edges and the deep blue rises to meet it. A natural indicolite formed in the mountains of Afghanistan, its inky colour drawn slowly by the earth rather than made in a lab.

The pear cut tapers the stone to a fine point and catches the light along its flat, open facets, while faint natural markings sit within, the honest fingerprint of a gem the earth grew itself.

Weight 0.80ct. Pear cut. 8.1 x 5.8 x 2.5 mm. Origin Afghanistan.
